We are ASKA, a non-profit animal rescue organization based in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our registered name is Udruženje za zaštitu životinja “ASKA” Bijeljina.
These terms describe the use of our website and the conditions that apply when supporting our work.
1. Purpose of this website
This website shares information about our animal rescue work and ways to support it.
Donations support animal care and rescue, including veterinary treatment, medication, food, transport, spay and neuter procedures, and safe temporary accommodation.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise, we use donations where they are most needed within our animal care and rescue work. A donation does not purchase an animal or guarantee an adoption.
2. Donation methods
You can support us through the options published on our donation page:
- Debit card or Apple Pay, where available, through Buy Me a Coffee and its payment providers.
- Bank transfer using our published IBAN and SWIFT details.
- Cryptocurrency using our published wallet addresses.
All donations are voluntary. Payment methods and availability depend on the relevant provider, device, and location. Payments made through external services are also subject to those services' terms.
Payment processing, bank, currency conversion, or network fees may apply and may reduce the amount we receive. We do not guarantee that a donation qualifies for tax relief in your country.
3. Monthly donations
If you choose monthly support, payments recur automatically until cancelled. You can cancel through the donation platform or contact info@helpaska.org for help.
Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund payments already made. Further information is available in Buy Me a Coffee's monthly support guidance.
4. Refunds and payment problems
Donations are generally non-refundable. If a payment was duplicated, made in error, or unauthorized, contact info@helpaska.org as soon as possible with the date, amount, and transaction reference. For an unauthorized payment, you should also contact your bank or payment provider promptly.
We review requests individually, subject to applicable law and the relevant provider's rules. For online card donations, see the Buy Me a Coffee Refund Policy.
Never send us your full card number, passwords, private keys, or wallet recovery phrase.
Nothing in these terms limits any refund, payment-dispute, or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
5. Cryptocurrency donations
Before sending a cryptocurrency donation, check that the wallet address and network match the details published on our donation page.
Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible. We cannot guarantee recovery of funds sent to an incorrect address or through an incompatible network. Transaction details may be publicly visible on the relevant blockchain.
6. Website content
Text, photographs, illustrations, and other materials on this website may be protected by copyright or other rights belonging to us or their respective owners.
You are welcome to share links to our website and rescue stories. Reproducing or adapting protected content requires permission from the relevant rights holder unless applicable law permits the use.
7. External links and privacy
Our website links to external services, including donation platforms and Facebook. We do not control their content, availability, security, or policies. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to our website, donation options, or legal requirements. Updates will be published on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes. Updates do not remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
